For many families, Fridays are a special day dedicated to spending time together. This makes Fridays the perfect time to be active together as a family. While typical Fridays often involve a family lunch or visiting relatives, try to also incorporate a fun activity that will get you and your kids moving. This could involve a family picnic in the park or by the beach where you bring along a football or Frisbee. It could also be something as simple as putting on the music at home and holding a family dance-off. Whatever you choose, just make sure that you are moving and everyone will be happier and healthier because of it.
Fitness date night
When it comes to spending time with your significant other, rather than a movie or dinner, why not try learning a new skill or activity together such as salsa, golf or diving. This can be a great way to bond, all the while having fun and adding some gentle exercise into your routine. If you’re looking for something more fitness heavy, make kickboxing classes, runs, gym workouts or personal training sessions part of your weekly schedule together.
