'In some parts of the world it is an essential': that is the catch line for the Toyota Land Cruiser. Elsewhere in the world other 4WDs may be icons and objects of desire, but in Oman Land Cruiser holds the fort.
From the 'Abu Shenabs' of yesteryears to the slick, sophisticated new models, they remain the dream vehicle for many. The number two is also out of the Toyota factory but gets far fewer points in the Best Brands Survey. As for the other 4WDs, they have a lot to do if they want to catch up with the leader.
